What Organisations do we support?

We can advise on a wide range of organisations that offer financial help and other relevant assistance. We also check that every applicant is in receipt of their full State Benefit entitlement and has approached all the relevant statutory sources for funding. Recommendations are made where it would appear a benefit or source of funding has been missed. You may also find our Useful Links page helpful.

How is it funded? Where does the money come from?

In the past the Benevolent Fund has been mainly funded through the Irish Restaurants Golfing Society which hold a charity event annually. Also at the Restaurants Association Annual General Meeting donations were received.

What can I do to assist the Benevolent Fund?

A great way to get on board with the charity is to attend or sponsor any of our events that run throughout the year, Golf Outings, Annual General Meeting, Roadshows, Irish Restaurant Awards. They are the perfect way to entertain clients, network with other like minded people within the industry or treat yourself and your colleagues, while vitally raising vital funds for the charity.

We can help when you need it. Every year hundreds of people suffer with addictions and emotional turmoil. People you'll never hear about. The Restaurants Association of Ireland Benevolent Fund are here to help. We have teamed up both The Rise Foundation and 1Life to offer support to people in need of their services within the industry.
